Business Development Representative Job Description

Company Overview:

Wineries hire our company to be their professional sales team. We talk with customers who have visited their tasting rooms, joined their wine clubs, and signed up for their mailing lists. These warm leads enable us to have personal conversations and sell as much wine as we possibly can while strengthening the relationship between the winery and its customers. We represent many prestigious winery clients across the industry, from Oregon and Washington to Napa and Sonoma, to wineries in the Central Coast, Southern California and all over the country. Responsibilities:

The BDR is responsible for expanding VinoPRO’s customer base and uses prospecting strategies to identify potential winery client partners for our DTC Sales Solutions. The goal of the BDR is to book appointments and meetings with wineries for our Senior Management team.

·         Use company CRM to build customer profiles, track actions, take notes, schedule calls, etc.

·         Prospect for new business using tools such as google, LinkedIn, yelp, and individual winery websites 

·         Build relationships with potential clients

·         Schedule meetings for VP and GM

Requirements:

·         B2B sales/business development experience as a SDR or BDR

·         Experience working from home or in a remote capacity

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Professional demeanor and disposition

·         No wine industry experience required (we will train you)

·         Must be at least 21 years of age

·         Must have working computer and internet access

·         Must be able to work the following hours/schedule from your home office:

  •               Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Compensation:

·         Hourly + Bonuses
